Zoombies!!

They are real. They are everywhere. You can get it without any warning. Watch out for the modern day zombies - Zoombies... zooming around in their cars or walking around oblivious... even the bird's warnings go unheeded...

Zombie Protests!!

It's Halloween time again. So time for some zombies. Apparently they also can be picky eaters and/or demand specific cuisine!! Enjoy.

Different Perspectives 1 - Noisy Neighbors

The underground creature is tired of all the noise his upstairs neighbors are making and try to put an end to it with disastrous consequences to himself... The boom box seems to have a concerned look for some reason!!

Mexican Standoff!!

Definition (from wikipedia): A Mexican standoff is most precisely a confrontation among three opponents armed with guns. The tactics for such a confrontation are substantially different from those for a duel, where the first to shoot has the advantage. In a confrontation among three mutually hostile participants, the first to shoot is at a tactical disadvantage. If opponent A shoots opponent B, then while so occupied, opponent C can shoot A, thus winning the conflict. Since it is the second opponent to shoot that has the advantage, no one wants to go first
Our most famous standoff is happening with Rock, Paper and Scissor going at it. Also who can forget the most famous scene from "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly". Of course the man with no name has rigged the game!! :)

Diamond for the Bat!!

Does this sound like a baseball lingo?!? Well, it's really 75th birthday (is diamond the correct term for it?) of the first comic of my favorite superhero Batman (March 30th - http://www.dccomics.com/blog/2014/03/27/warner-bros-entertainment-and-dc-entertainment-celebrate-batmans-75th-anniversary) !! Peeping Tom

Distant galaxies, supernovae, stars, blackholes, planets and what not... Earth has been busy watching everything around and NASA just announced it has found 715 planets from Kepler mission (http://io9.com/nasa-confirms-the-existence-of-715-new-exoplanets-1531783401). It has already its foot on Moon, Curiosity happily nudging along on Mars and Cassini watching Saturn (Watch out for a movie releasing soon based on Cassini's images - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mG7GP86k74). Exciting times in Astronomy indeed.

Natural Selection!!

Ok, this has nothing to do with Darwin, but it's Groundhog day and Punxsutawney Phil sees a long shadow. People trapped in the Arctic vortex naturally select the pointing dog with a smaller shadow in hopes of a shorter winter. The snowman hopes otherwise!!
