Night & Day!!

Ok, something different this time. Been watching the awesome Batman TAS (Batman: The Animated Series (TV Series 1992–1995) - IMDb ) and wanted to do something related (and also excited about the upcoming Batman/Superman movie).

Recently, I found this youtube video, where this artist drew several hundred images and created sort of animation story .. superman one is awesome.. and batman's one is also good.. check it out.. Lot of emotion in the drawing...

Kite Shock!!

This is one of the more famous stories: Ben Franklin discovers electricity while flying Kite into thunderstorm. There have been several disputes and myths on these theories as well. However the truth was before the time of avengers, Thor was as playful as his brother Loki and decided to have fun with Ben and send some thunder on the way. Ah well it's all history now.

I know I am a little late on this, but back from where I come from January 14th, we fly kites and eat food to celebrate "Uttarayan" - Sun's movement North relative to Earth. (Uttar = North, Ayan = moving). There are other names for it as well http://www.gujarattourism.com/fairs-festivals/cultural-festivals/international-kite-festival-uttarayan

Dream on Calvin!!

Happy Birthday MLK. There is a Calvin/Hobbes strip where he gets his own copy of emancipation proclamation from his mother (see below).. He is obviously complaining to MLK about him needing to pick up his jacket, with his Mom being angry and flustered while Hobbes rolls his eyes in the background...

Goof Off!!

Benson hires Planet Express for his deliveries. He expects Mordecai and Rigby to help Bender and Fry load the boxes on to the ship. However Fry/Bender and Mordecai/Rigby entered into a goof off contest. Who will win? Surely this will get intense enough to open a wormhole in time and space, right? Enjoy!! It's Friday, so time for some own personal goofing off coming up. I love both Futurama and Regular Show.

Side Note: I wanted to do a different drawing today but settled on this one instead. The one I was planning was "Happy Wholloween" celebrating Dr. Who (one of my favorite sci-fi shows ever since I came across it in 2005 - BBC One - Doctor Who) with Daleks, cybermen and weeping angels.. check it out on Netflix.. it's awesome... on that note, here's an interesting article with costume ideas for physics/science geeks.
